    Applications

    In industry, barium-chloride is used to manufacture other barium salts, pigments, coatings, mordants, leather, insecticides, pharmaceuticals, inks, water softeners, etc. Specifically, it is also used in industries such as metal heat treatment, electronic instruments, and metallurgy.
